Driving licence category B =

 Vehicle up to 3500kg MAM and trailer up to 750 kg MAM

Or

Vehicle and trailer combined MAM not more than 3500kg

Anything more than this requires category B+E

Acquiring category B+E on your licence:

* There is no theory test, just a practical driving test which involves:

• Eyesight test
• 5 x Show me/tell me questions
• Reversing exercise
• Uncoupling demonstration
• Coupling demonstration
• Driving on a variety of different road types.

DVSA driving test fee: £115.00

Lessons: £40 per hour.
